Dawn Fisher, MSN, RN, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner in Charlottesville, Virginia. She started her nursing career in a long-term care facility. She has spent over 20 years as a beside nurse, mostly taking care of nephrology and dialysis patients. She graduated from University of Virginia School of Nursing and now she pursues her passion for caring for the geriatric population. She has come full circle from her beginnings in a facility, to helping patients live their best life every day. In addition to being a nurse, Dawn loves to spend time with her husband and two children (a Navy Nuke and a budding RN), scrapbooking, and traveling.
